Monday 5th December
I left Perth at 9am and rode over the Narrows Bridge which is part of the Kwinana Freeway heading south. This freeway has a bike path alongside it all the way to Mandurah, today’s destination, So it was an easy route to follow, made even easier by being flat terrain all the way.
The cycle path can be seen to the left of the freeway in the above picture.
It was well signposted, and the surface was excellent, in fact it would have been a good route to skate.
I arrived in Mandurah about 1.30 and had a walk round this rather upmarket holiday resort, it’s in a beautiful setting and was very quiet with few people to be seen anywhere:
Then it was back to the motel for a bit of relaxation in the pool:
Total distance today 88kms.
